At OnYourMark, student safety is our top priority. We have a detailed internal protocol to ensure that any safety concerns that arise during tutoring sessions are handled quickly, responsibly, and in coordination with school and district partners.
Tutors are trained to respond calmly and professionally to a wide range of incidents, including:
- Concerns about unsafe home situations
- Bullying or peer conflicts
- Inappropriate behavior from school or district staff
- Concerns involving OnYourMark staff or tutors
- Self-harm or suicidal ideation
- Any instance where a student may harm others
We follow all mandated reporting guidelines, maintain confidentiality, and ensure appropriate communication with district and campus leaders.
